Hello, My name is Alison Green. My dad got promoted and they transferred him to DC and so here we are! The thought of moving to DC didn’t thrill me at all but I didn’t exactly have a choice. I didn’t like it here at first and I was really miserable because I didn’t have any friends and I didn’t think I would be able to make new ones. But that all changed when I met Becky, Becca, and Hannah. They are all the most wonderful friends and, of course, my sisters in Christ. I was 18 on April 29th (2008). I’m doing ok at school but I could do a lot better. My weakest subjects are sciences and my strongest is history. I really love British history and I intend to go there as soon as I can and see all that history for myself. I would also like to go and see the pyramids in Egypt. It shouldn’t be a big surprise when I tell you that I’d like to go on and get a degree in history and be a history teacher. I like to keep fit and I enjoy most sports, but I detest soccer. My interests and hobbies include listening to music, watching movies, and photography. I take a lot of pictures of historical buildings. My favorite color is black; my favorite movie is You’ve Got Mail, and my favorite book is Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. I’ve seen what the others have been saying about Becky and it’s all true. She is a unique person and a true friend to everybody and we all love her dearly. She is very strong willed, has a very strong faith, and she always puts God first in her life. It’s true what Becca says, “She is a bit bossy and a bit scary sometimes (especially when she goes ballistic).” |
