Hi ya, My name is Megan Massey. I am 12 years old. I live in Queens in New York with my mom and dad and my little brother Mickey who is 7. We have a family dog called Ben, a family cat called Sims, and I have my own rabbit who I named Suzie. My dad is a paramedic and mom works in administration for a school (not mine). This is how I met Becky. Me, mom and dad, and Mickey were in Central Park, and me and Mickey were playing and Becky was with her mom, and as they were walking by, Becky saw me and she says, “Hello, I am Becky. What’s your name?” So I told her my name and she asked if she could play with us. I was surprised that a big girl like her wanted to play with me but I said ok. When it was time to go, she gave me her e-mail address and when I wrote to her she wrote back and we write to each other all the time now. She has been telling me all about God and Jesus and she sent me a Bible of my own. She is a very good girl and she is always showing me how I can be a good girl. She is very kind because she bought me some books for school and she sent me $20 dollars so I could go on a school trip. She said she will come and see me when she comes to New York again and I am really looking forward to that. She said I could come and stay with her in her house for a whole week when I am a teenager. I will have to be a very, very, very good girl if I want my parents to let me go and stay with her. At school I am about the third top student in my class and I am learning to play different musical instruments like the piano and the recorder. I am good at most subjects but I really enjoy all kinds of arts and crafts. I like to draw and paint people and animals. I don’t know what I want to be when I grow up but mom says I can be whatever I want to be. When I’m at home me and Mickey play on the computer for hours and I usually beat him most of the time. When I’m not playing on the computer, I am usually drawing, coloring or reading. I have read all the Harry Potter books and I have watched all the movies. I also like reading A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket. |
