Hi, 

My name is Bridgett Meller. I live in Washington, DC with my parents, Ron and Marg, and my little brother, Robby, who is 8 years old. We have a family dog, a Labrador, called Nelson. My brother has a liking for spiders, which I hate. It’s up to him if he wants to play with spiders and other disgusting things but just so long as he doesn’t bring them anywhere near me. 

I go to a State school (I wish I didn’t, though) and I’m in the 11^th grade and Robby is in the 3^rd grade. Dad is a director of law firm and mom does secretarial work for a construction company. My dad says I can work for him when I graduate with my law degree. No pressure dad!!! 

I love music but Jazz is my passion. I also play the violin, piano, flute, and saxophone. I like all kinds of sports and I’m in the school basketball team. I’m a big fan of the Washington Wizards.

I first met Becky when we had our first Bible study. I was amazed at how much she knew about the Bible and she explained things so clearly. But the most amazing thing about Becky is the way she treats people. She made me feel special right from the start, like I had always been her best friend. Since I have become a Christian, I’ve been having some problems at school and Becky comes to see me everyday to talk about my problems and we pray together. She said, “I am going to keep on coming to see you and we are going to keep on talking about this and praying until God answers our prayers.” I was so touched by her love. She won’t like me saying this but I think she is an angel come down from heaven.
