Hi, I'm Lydia, and this is my introduction, a bit different to the others. DETAILS Full name: Lydia Christine Daniell. D.O.B: 14-05-1992. Home town: Maidstone. Height: I'm very small for my age. Best feature: some of my friends think it's my height, but I think it's my lovely long blonde hair. Personality: hard working, trustworthy, reliable, caring and helpful as well as being fun to be around. FAVORITE THINGS Favourite colour: although I look best in blue, and own mainly blue clothes, my favourite colour is actually purple/mauve. Favourite animal: those of you that know me, you have no excuse! Those of you that don't, it's horses that are the best animal ever!
Reasons: there are too many to list, but a few are - they help the disabled, they are one of the most intelligent pets and animals (I'm not just saying that, it has been tested!), you can do lots of different things with them, including riding, and they live long, about 25 - 30 years, so you can spend lots of time with them! Favourite food: chocolate, especially white chocolate. Reasons: who doesn't like chocolate! Chocolate may have lots of sugar and bad things, but I don't have it that often and it tastes gorgeous! Favourite drinks: apple juice and milk. Reasons: I love apples, and apple juice tastes nice. Milk tastes nice and is good for you too! Favourite meal: spaghetti Bolognese. Reasons: it tastes delicious, you can have so many different things inside the Bolognese, and it's easy to make too! Favourite subjects at school: Food Technology and ICT. Reasons: I love designing things, I am good with computers and other technology, and I love doing cooking! Favourite sport: horse riding. Reasons: it's obvious isn't it?! I love horses, and it's a sport which requires a horse. It's the sport I am best at, as I have been doing it for about 2 years and at a reasonable level of riding. PETS
Pets I own: Dusty the rabbit who is very lucky to have survived 2 serious cases of flystrike, which kills many rabbits on the first case. I share Angel the guinea pig with my younger sister Hannah. I have Cupid the gerbil who was got with his brother Casper as a Christmas present for Hannah. I also own Whizz the rat, who I earned my ownership of. Basically, she was the baby of another rat, and when we had people round who were interested in buying her or one of her siblings, she escaped, only to be rescued by me! FAMILY AND FRIENDS My family: my family consists of 2 grandmas, 1 granddad, 1 dad, 1 mum, 2 sisters, 4 uncles, 4 aunties (this doesn't include ones who have divorced their partners) and 11 cousins, with one on the way! (Phew!) You don't want me to get into other relatives, like great aunts and uncles! Friends in school: I have quite a few, but the main people I stick with in school are Hannah, Natasha and Louise. Can I include teachers who I'm friends with? If so, then Ms White and Mr Miller are my 'teacher friends'! Friends out of school: a large selection of friends, some of which I know well, and some of which I don't know as well/don't get to see that often. Friends I have include, e-mail friends, mainly Becky and Amanda, friends from the past, mainly Louisa, relatives of friends, like Becky (Louisa's sister), horse friends (not horses silly, friends I have who like horses!) like Rebecca, Helen and Maddie and camp/church/Christian friends. This includes people from my congregation at Tunbridge Wells, friends from British Bible Camp and other Christian friends, like Emma, who is a friend of the family and someone I have known my whole life! INTERESTS Hobbies: horses - anything and everything! Looking after pets, making/designing things, drawing horses, writing stories and other things, going on the computer, spending time with my family and friends and doing clubs. Clubs: I do quite a few clubs and help out at places too. I help out at Guides; I am a member of Fant Wildlife Group and The Cinnamon Trust. I help out at school fetes and other things like that too. WHAT I HOPE TO DO IN THE FUTURE
I hope to do well at school and pass all my exams. I then hope to go on to Hadlow College, and study equine management full-time for 2 years. After that, I will probably take a year out and learn to drive etc in that time. I then hope to go on an apprenticeship, or become a horse trainer/livery yard or riding school owner. HOW I MET BECKY Becky’s dad, David, comes and preaches at my church once a month. All of a sudden, he kept on going on about how much Becky wanted to know me so eventually I said I’d e-mail her and so now I e-mail her regularly and I hope I never stop e-mailing her as she is such a special person to me! HOW MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY WOULD DESCRIBE ME At school my teachers would say I am a hardworking, well-behaved mature student and an influence to others around me. At home, my family would say I am helpful, obedient and a role model to my younger sister. My friends would say I am fun to be around but also helpful when it comes to advice. They would also say I am trustworthy, loyal, fun to be around and generally a person who will get on with anyone and help those around her. I used to be a very shy person and nervous when it came to meeting new people. Now, I meet new people and will be happy to get to know any of you who happen to be reading my introduction. |
