About These Study Groups
On Friday evenings, my friends and me have a Bible study and it is very encouraging for everyone (These meetings are separate from anything the church arranges).
Why are you doing this?
There are other Christians all over the world that have similar meetings and so we thought it would be encouraging if we all kept in contact. So each group leader writes to the leaders of the other groups every week to let them know how things are going. But there's more to it than that! Maybe your group needs some ideas for a Bible study, perhaps you have material to share, or you might have a Bible question you need answering. That's the idea of keeping in contact - to share, learn, and encourage.
How can I join your network?
If you have a weekly Bible study with your friends and you want to join our network, then write to me at becky.rene@usa.com I will need to know all the names of the people in your study group, the subject your are studying, and where you are located. It would be nice to have a photo of your group but it is not necessary.
Are there any membership requirements?
As long as you have a weekly Bible study, you can join. It doesn't matter what day you have your study, how many people are in the group (even just two people), or how old you are. It would be nice if you could write to all the other leaders once a week but we are not forcing anyone to do that.
So what happens when I join up?
After I receive details about your group and what you are studying, I will put all your details on a web page and put a link to it on my home page. The link will be a hexagon that is joined to all the others that are already there.
I don't have Bible study group!
If you do not have a Bible study group, then maybe you can start one. If you write to me and tell me about yourself and just give me as much information about your situation as you can, then I will try to give you some advice about starting a weekly Bible study.
