You say that tomorrow you’ll go here and there
for maybe a week or as long as you care
You were born to do business it’s a natural flair
so you’re sure you’ll come back as a millionaire
But tomorrow could bring good fortune or ills
so you should be saying “If the Lord wills”
For your life’s like fog or a mist on the moor
it’s there for a while and then it’s no more
You’re proud and you boast of your wonderful plans
but your life and your doings are all in God’s hands
Such boasting is evil and pride is a sin
and sin’s sure to catch you like a bird in a gin
