Sometimes I just can’t bear the pain
I suffer here inside.
It’s not like someone’s chasing me
And I can run and hide!
So here I am alone again
Crying out my eyes;
Calling on my God above
To hear my desperate cries.
Lord, tell my why I suffer so,
Am I the one to blame?
Have I been bad or hurt someone?
I need You to explain.
Oh, Lord, please help me take this pain
And learn for other’s gain.
If I can comfort those in pain
My suffering’s not in vain.
